down a rodent's canal

today is an internet holiday of sorts. international "down the rabbit hole day".
what the fuck is that? - you may ask. well, i don't know who came up with it, or why, but on this day bloggers around the world will supposedly post blogs in a style unlike that to which they are accustomed. for example, i usually post boring pictures with little or no text, so on 'down the rabbit hole day' i will post boring text with little or no pictures. pretty simple. here goes: it's snowing today, and nobody showed up to work, which means i'm here by myself. it's perfect. i wish i could work alone more often. i get a lot done, but i play too. i bought some music this morning.
the last four albums i've purchased or stolen are: radiohead, marblebog, kings of leon, and mgmt. they are pretty good albums - you should check them out.
i'm stressing out a little about a six-foot drawing i'm working on. i don't know if i can pull it off. time will tell. sometimes i think "man if i could just quit this 9 to 5 shit and draw all day - that would be nice" but working on something six feet long sobers me up to the fact that i really don't know what the fuck i'm doing.
my dad slipped in the ice yesterday and cut his head, but he's okay. him and wendy are getting old out there in the sticks, and i worry about them.
i'm trying to build the website for the lab, and it's really kicking my ass. i'll figure it out though.

i have a short enough attention span that i can hardly stand to read other people's blogs, but there are still quite a few i check up on almost daily. they are:
boing boing the classic
postsecret on mondays
cosmic hearse his other blogs are great too
bizarro best comic standing
dog's faint insane image bank
found stuff one a day, no more
failblog simple pleasures
photoshop disasters ha ha
library of congress fun fun
coop he doesn't post often enough
unremitting failure truly

isn't it so much better to glance at a photograph briefly and move on with your day, rather than reading somebody's bullshit? i agree. we'll keep to that formula in the future.
thanks for reading. we should hang out soon.

After reading all of your morning thoughts which led to me pondering my own situation in life and hoping your dad is okay and wishing I could quit working and ride my bike and masturbate all day and wishing I had a fraction of your artistic talent and wishing I cold buy some new music all I came up with is this - your new drawing is almost as big as my penis. You're right - we should hang out soon.
