Remember that weekend we spent in Carlsbad - the cowboy hotel? i think whatever it was that came through that wall must have followed me home somehow. It's here with me now.

     I remember one summer we were driving to the zoo, it was like '95 or 96' because I just finished high school. My girlfriend at the time was driving a green Honda Civic, but that doesn't matter. We were stuck in this really long traffic jam on I-44, and I got out to stretch my legs or smoke a cigarette or something. This little truck, like a S10 or a Ranger or something, was flying down the shoulder. I guess I didn't see it in time, because it just totally ran me over. It killed me really, really quick, almost no pain. It was the easiest thing I'd ever done.
